Default Track Driving Techniques

At the bottom of the Race Logic ad in December’s Sportscar Magazine was this link to advanced track driving techniques:


I paged through and found the authors method for dealing with hairpins to be useful for Autocross, as well.

Here’s my favorite part:

“A common question I’m asked by clients is: “When is the right time to get on the throttle?”

To quote 3-time Formula 1 world Champion, Sir Jackie Stewart:

“Don’t put your foot on the gas pedal until you’re sure that you’ll never have to take it off again.”
