does this mean i can put a WRX motor in my 510?

I can't imagine the butchery you'd have to commit to fit a WRX motor between the front wheels of a 510.

Someone on NASIOC did try. In like 2006. They sold the car unfinished, I believe.

I don't know why anyone would go that route when the SR20 motor in that car is so great. I guess just to be unique?

Something being a good idea is not only not a requirement for me to want to see someone try it, it's usually not as entertaining.

If I were going to do a cross-make swap into a Dime, I'd try a 4G63 with the longitudinal mounts and such from a StarQuest.

Now that this is it's own thread...

An S2000 powered 510 would be a riot. I always wondered though, would a Titan's V8 fit, a la a Ford 5.0L "monster miata"?

I think an STi motor into an older Porsche 911SC would be damn quick. The only crappy part would be the conversion to water-cooled... Plus you've have to get creative with a whale-tail in order to house the intercooler.
