The PDX days are wonderful with Reno SCCA! The PDX group has several classroom discussion with a wonderful teacher, and yes you are provided an instructor that can teach you the basics and then advanced techniques as you gain confidence and control. Prices are very good with Reno SCCA, pay close attention to open PDX registration on motorsportreg coming soon! Glad you are hooked, I am!

Welcome Maggie, If you plan to do more that one event with the Reno Region at ThunderHill , an Annual Tech will save you some time at the events.

The Annual Tech is good for the whole year.
You must purchase a log book for $5, it will last you 3+ years.
Bring your car and your helmet out to Summit Racing on March 28th to get one done. Takes about 10 minutes.

With an Annual, at the track, you will not have to put your car in the Tech Inspection line in the morning. Just bring your log book and helmet to the Tech Inspectors and you'll get a windshield Tech Sticker.

Thanks for the tip on tech inspection. I'll be there! Is the annual tech inspection good for the autox events too? Or will I still need to do those?

Good news - no, the Annual Time Trials Tech is only for the road courses

But the Autocross Tech team will also be at Summit so, you can get both done at one time.
