Hello,
I'm planning on doing both events this weekend! If so, do I need to pay the $15 weekend membership each day? How does one become a member? I'm planning to attend all events this year
Thanks much.
BTW, I got the Mustang all ready for the event today and retrieved my helmet out of storage

You pay the weekend membership once for both days, but you do have to pay for each days entry. Head over to the SCCA website to get full membership or you can use your weekend membership (as partial payment) to finish your registration. Talk to some of the seasoned vets at the first event, we'll happily help!

Hi Bb, R807 is correct, the weekend membership is good for both days. Since it is close to the event, best bet is to get the weekend membership and then join online about a week after the event. This way the SCCA national has a chance to process your 15 credit for the weekend membership.

You can join for the year at the event as well, but i think the online bit is faster. We will have to mail in forms, get someone to act on them, etc. Fewer hands have to touch the paperwork if you do it all online.

Default Solo School Instructing

If we plan on instructing at Solo school should we hold off on paying the online registration? Do I need to officially sign up for that?

I didn't see anything about test 'n tune, is that still being allowed on Saturday? Asking for Andrew, who sent a message to our page.

Went to register and it wont let me register for Solo school day without paying. Don't know if thats an easy fix or not but for now I'll just online register for event 1 and plan on doing solo school reg manually

You don't need to register for solo school if you are instructing.

just show up.

if you are test and tune, it's $25. just pay for solo school.

Maybe I missed something.
Solo school and test n tune is simultaneous right? Last year instructors got free test n tune while the students did classroom, then taught on course, and got to run in the afternoon in their own car and with students as well? Either way I'm gonna do it, just need to know if I'm supposed to pony up!

Phil, some people test n tune, without instructing. If you do both, it's free, but for TnT only, you gotta pay!

I am very surprised that there is only 19 people signed up so far for Sunday. Come on people sign up on line. It will help expedite things on Sunday, remember opening day last year.

Doing mine right now.

Edit: how do I know which group tuner will run in? Should I be there at 8 or 12?

Nevermind, I see that Tuner is in the B group which is first.
