2021 Thunderhill Dates

We have agreed in principle to 4 dates at the TH West track (2 mi) for 2021. They are posted on the schedule, but here also:
April 17
May 22
June 12
Sept 11

None of the 2 day events we asked for were available, so no 2 days next year.

However, we are considering a 3 mi date on 2 July, which is (we think) still available. The 4th is on a Sunday this year - how will people celebrate in general? Fri before off, Monday off, both?

Will a 2 July event on the 3 mi be well attended? We would likely need at least 60 entrants to make the event worthwhile...

I really like that we are starting earlier, although I am wishing more dates were available. We NEED to do the 3 mile!!!! People want variety and changing tracks will help get the numbers.

I agree that it'd be nice to do a mix of 2- and 3-mile courses. I seem to recall discussion of even a 5-mile event? I haven't done that yet, and I'm sure it'd be a big draw even outside of our region.

Days off? What are those?

Thanks, Andy and Carol, for the final schedule! I'm sure it's tough to juggle availability, costs, and everyone's preferences. We appreciate your work and are looking forward to seeing everyone at these events.
