Scott, when I uploaded the March 09, 2022 Board Meeting to renoscca.org the auto generated meeting date and meeting description show Dec 31, 1996. The URL also shows 1969. I changed the title and description but can not change the URL.

It looks like something went afoul when you archived the old information. Can you correct this

Scott, Please disregard the previous message. I needed to select 'General' instead of 'Meeting'.

Scott, can you please check renoscca.org and let me know why I can't enter our Jan 13 Monthly Meeting into the calender. I tried using Google and Microsoft Edge but get the Ajax Error with both browsers. Help!

Thanks and Happy New Year to you and the growing family

Scott, please correct the Solo Supplementary Regulations in renoscca.org. If I open the Solo Sups tab the 2018 Time Trials Sups appear. I thought I could add/revise the sups but I guess not. The 2020 Solo Sups PDF document is in the documents section.

    Hey Kevin!

I've been going to KSpeed for all my stuff. Cory and Bob are the mechanics there (both are SCCA regulars) and Matt (who's also on the forums here) runs the place. They're extremely familiar with Subarus (Cory races a 2.5RS, Matt designs & manufacturers aftermarket parts for Subarus). You can find their info here: http://www.renoscca.org/forums/showthread.php?t=863

If you're going to run specific wheels and tires for the track, it's very hard not to recommend a set of Enkei RPF1 wheels, as they're light, strong, and relatively cheap (about $1000 for a set of 4 brand new in 17x8+45 5x100). Of course, there are plenty of cheaper alternatives, like finding a set of used OEM wheels or something. It really doesn't matter all that much as long as the wheels are the correct offset for the car so nothing rubs.

Tires are a bit of a different choice. Since you're not planning on competing (yet) you probably don't need anything like the current top-of-the-line street tires, and you certainly don't need R-compound tires. I'd hit up TireRack and take a look at some of the cheaper "max performance" and "ultra high performance" tires. The Hankook Ventus V12's are a decent tire for a super low price. There are definitely better tires, but if you're just going to burn them up at the track doing PDX, cheaper is better as long as the tire is predictable.

    Hey Scott,

It's Kevin from PDX on 7/30/11. You were my instructor. Quick question - what was the name of the shop you had taken your wrx to and would you recommend them? I'm not going to tweak anything yet since I can't even use the car to it's potential yet but maybe in the future. Thanks again for the great experience!!!! Taking me out with the blue group was a big part of the learning experience.

One more thing. I've been looking into tires and wheels for track days. Recommend anything in particular?

    Kevin
