Does anyone know if there's a slot car track anywhere in the area? There was one in Reno about 10-12 years ago but they went out of business. I was moving stuff in the basement and "rediscovered" my slot cars and stuff, and remembered how much fun they were, and I like to get the kids into it if possible.
The RC cars probably killed the slot cars. There is a business opportunity in there, resurrecting the slot car.
Yes, assuming you are talking about classic Matchbox/Hot Wheel size cars HO scale cars.
They post something on cragslist fairly often...

I have some somewhere I keep threatening to find.

There used to be a sweet slot car setup in Park lane mall, but I think it's gone
They may have relocated somewhere else, but not sure where.

High Sierra Hobbies on Kietzke and Peckham has slot car stuff. They don't have a track (at least, not the last time I was in there 2 years ago) but they'd probably know if there were any tracks around town.
I dunno, though, it may lead you into the seedy world of underground slot car racing.
