Hi gang, it's been a while since I've checked in or been out to an event. I'm getting the car ready to bring it back out for some more fun but have run into an issue. I want to add wider rubber out back and need to find a place that can roll my rear fenders. Does anyone know of a local shop that can do this work? TIA

KSpeed Automotive in Sparks can take care of that for you Dean, and be less expensive than just about anybody. Give Matt a call at 250-7903.

Talked to Gilson in Carson and they won't touch it! Something about risk not worth reward, even with a "fender roller machine". Want to re-paint both rear quarters to do it at over $1k .....

Hey Dean. I got your message today, but I must have written your cell number down wrong, so I had trouble calling you back. Give me another call on my cell - 250-7903.

We have a fender rolling tool, and the technician, Cory is very thorough and meticulous with it (and everything else). He uses a heat gun on the paint to help it roll under without cracking. Sometimes the paint must be scored (ie. cut) to get it to break cleanly. It would be best for us to see the car before quoting it, but about an hour is a typical time to do it for all four corners.

Cory (aka MPREZIV) is very active in SCCA, and I bet many people here know him and his reputation.

PS... first post for me on SCCA :D...

Cory and Matt know their stuff. I'm sure you'll be pleased with the results. :)

I'll recommend this to Nick as well, he may want his fenders rolled too!
