For autocross there are no restrictions on seats as far as age or certification. Not sure about CT/TT rules.

CT - Must be securely mounted. (Kinda vague)

TT -

L. Seats - the seat shall be securely mounted. If a folding seat, it shall be securely bolted or strapped in place. It is highly recommended that the driver’s seat be replaced with a one-piece bucket type race seat meeting and include an upper brace if non-FIA homologated

Road Race - Close to the TT rule with the addition that it must be attached to the cross bar on the rollcage, depending on certification date.

If you're mounting a seat and not using the factory mounting holes, I highly recommend reinforcing the floorpan. Large body washers,min or strap metal/angle.
The last thing you want to happen is a 3/8ths washer pulling thru the floorpan in a wreck.
