I'll help. Have a list of interested kids at Reno High.

The Street Survival program is still looking for someone to step up and organize events. We have tons and tons of people willing to help out at each school, but so far nobody has shown any interest in the marketing/PR involved in getting enough interest to ensure we don't lose money at the event.
I think Dave D. mentioned that BMW Club is moving forward with a Street Survival, and is soliciting SCCA member volunteers. Sorry, I can't remember the date, but Dave will probably give an update about what he's heard, in the next day or two.

I am willing to do the PR. I write a dozen press releases every week for work.
June 12 is the date for the BMW Club Street Survival at Mt Rose.
Reno SCCA also has Solo events that weekend at Stead.
Gina: that's really cool that you would volunteer to do the PR. Our hold-up is due to not having a 'project manager' to coordinate the many tasks that need to be accomplished -- of which a big part is doing whatever is necessary to get enough students pre-registered. If you (or anyone else reading this) would be willing to take on this role - and you would have help behind the scenes -- you should let Carol Deborde know.

I'd do it if it didn't involve organization. I have memory problems from being hit by a drunk and have a hard time being organized. But I am getting questioned by many kids and parents because I talk about how great the program is and my daughter and her friends are all recently-licensed. I know I could get a good turnout.
