Short notice and we don't need many people or folks to drive from far away, but...

Matt and I are sorting cones Sat. 4/12 at my house in West-SouthWest Reno.

If you are bored and want to help, PM me and I'll give you directions.

P.S. Somebody needs to invent a cone washer kind of like a golf ball washer and a battery post cleaner scaled up to 5 gallon bucket size.

Drop a cone in pionty end down and 5 seconds later it comes out shinny and new... :)

I pressure washer would work.I don't know... I think you need brushes, pressure and chemicals to make it happen.

Dean, just throw two or three of them at a time in your dishwasher. In 7 or 8 weeks, you'll have 'em all cleaned up!

I guarantee that I blackened up at least 3 of the cones very well.

Jon, what puts you in SM?

Low self esteem

Well, I took off the CF hood and replaced it with an L hood, but that still qualifies for SM as far as I know. I also have an after market grille.

With the way the wind is blowing today and the fact that it is suppose to be blowing on Saturday I hope when you cleaned the cones you also added some wieght to them.

We'll have to run the course on the honor system and leave all the cones in the trailer. "Just don't drive over any of the boxes drawn on the ground."

That should work as I only plan to use 5 or 6 cones

With the way the wind is blowing today and the fact that it is suppose to be blowing on Saturday I hope when you cleaned the cones you also added some wieght to them.Last Friday, the sani huts were blowing around and much of the course blew over or blew sideways 5-20 feet.

Speaking of which, there is a bunch of yellow rope and such in the trailer to tie the huts to the fence. We don't want them blowing into a plane.

The drawback would be, if you hit a stack, you get 4 seconds added to your time!

CF hood/WRX brakes?

Hood. My understanding is that the brakes would still be ST(S?X?) legal, although John doesn't have them. I was outta ST and SP because of my brakes/hood, and then LW flywheel. He does have a LW flywheel too, which puts him outta ST, but is okay in SP, if he had a stock hood, as far as I know...
