I need some text that summarizes the Reno Region SCCA for the website. I figure instead of making it up myself, I'd see what the members think of the club.

Specifically, I need a blurb that outlines what Reno SCCA is for the main page, plus some descriptions of our 3 main programs: Solo, Race/Trials, and the Social aspects of the club for each of the 3 sub-homepages.

If anyone feels like tackling one or several of these for me, feel free to post them up in this thread or PM them to me and I'll copy them to the main website pages.

Thanks!

There are better wordsmiths out there than me, but since no one else has kicked this off yet:

The Reno Region of the Sports Car Club of America organizes and operates a variety of activities targeted to motorsports enthusiasts in the Northern Nevada area. The 2008 schedule includes the Northern Pacific Division annual convention, autocross events, amateur road races (Track Trials and Club Trials), Performance Driving Experience (PDX), driving tours of local scenic highways as well as the road course at Reno-Fernley Raceway, Road Race Volunteer training, monthly club meetings, Tire Rack Street Survival School (targeted to teach teens safe driving skills), and an annual awards banquet.

Thanks Debbie! I'm using that verbatim except for a mention of the Race to Reno that I added.
