Club Trials this weekend 8/8-8/9

So far only Larry and I are entered in the club trials. I really don’t think it’s fair for the workers who will be forced to watch the two lowest horsepower cars in the club slowly lap the track. I may have to stop and hand out espresso to the flaggers just to keep them awake. So all you CT folks please sign up, odds are you will be faster than at least one BMW and maybe a Porsche

Unfortunately we decided to cancel the race this weekend because of the extremely light turnout. There aren't enough cars entered to provide decent competition and the club stands to loose a bunch of money.

Part of the attendance problem seems to be the date and part is, no doubt the economy but there are probably other reasons as well.

Darn and I had just gotten that large orange reflective triangle bolted to the back of my car, next I need a rubber arm to hang out my window to act as a perpetual point by. Or I could have my umbrella girl ride in the back except she really doesn’t have fingers
