The classes in Track Trial are designated by a T, like TT 1, TT 2, etc; are the classes in Club designated by a C - such as CT1, CT2? And as far as numbers are concerned, I'm guessing that as soon as we get the results from last year posted on line we'll be able to tell what Club and Track Trial numbers are currently being used?

Scott, can you send me a link to the Solo standings? I need to verify I've got the right numbers reserved, I've been getting emails.

Don,

Club Trials and Track Trials use the same class designation. We have four stock classes, SA, SB, SC and SS and six Time Trials Production classes TT-1, TT-2, TT-3, TT-4, TT-5 and TT-6. Also cars prepared to race classes can use the GCR race car designations. A full listing is in the supps on the reno scca website.

That said, I would actually prefer to use the CT/TT designations, as it makes it easier for spectators to tell the cars apart in the pits. Kinda like ALMS's use of colored lights to differentiate P1/P2 and GT1/GT2.

But like Dave said, officially the classes are TT-X for "Time Trials Production" not "Track Trials".
