Hi,
I just finished doing an interview with Mark Koba from CNBC and he wants to speak to homebuyers who didn't complete a deal because of any of these reasons but especially #1:
1. They nearly completed the deal but decided that while the house was a good deal it wasn't what they wanted--they had been just too caught up in getting a good deal.
2. It was too much hassle (a short sale, for example) and they gave up.
3. They had problems getting financing or their financing fell through.
4. The appraisal came in low and the seller wasn't willing to drop the price.
If anyone (Realtor or buyer) cares to share what they know about this they could end up on CNBC. I checked the writer out--legitimate deal; our PR girl sent him to me. Would really appreciate it if you want to put your 2 cents in on a national level.
