Hey Pat, or anyone else that's been working events out at RFR lately, was the issue with the timing loop missing cars that on the CT track configuration ever corrected?

I know the timing loop was modified somewhat recently to make sure cars were picked up in the pit-lane for the SCCA race. But did that fix extend the loop so cars coming across the infield by-pass can't skip timing by staying far driver's left onto the front straight?

I just remember having issues with missing CT cars in Timing & Scoring the last time I worked an event, and the Lemons race organizers are planning on using the same configuration. Missing the S/F loop during time trials sucks, but at least is doesn't put you a lap down on the field like it will during Lemons!

I talked to Dave after last event, and not a single car was missed at the first event of the season. Multiple cars crossing door to door worked fine as well.

Scott,

There are now two loops across the track and they are both extended almost to the inside sdge of the pavement. One of the loops has some connection problem and gives a weak signal at times but the track may have repaired that by now. There is also a third loop and it is for the Pit Lane.

As Dean mentioned, we did not have a problem missing Club Trials cars at the April event.
