Where do you go for your own transponder? Any particular type needed for Club Trials or are they all the same? Channels, freq., etc?

Or you can get one with free shipping overnight by ordering from io/port:
http://www.ioportracing.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=AMB1772&Category_Code=AMB
Since they're in the Bay Area, their free ground shipping option gets to Reno overnight. Also, you'll notice that the AMB transponder prices are pretty much fixed everywhere. I've never seen someone selling them for anything but $380 for a direct powered 260.
What sucks is that it's basically the same stuff that the RC hobbyists use for three times the cost!

Don,
You can also get one from HRP and use a gift certificate if you happen to have one. IO Port also has them in stock. Or, you can go direct to AMB Identification & Timing US Inc. 3200 Highlands Parkway, Smyrna, GA 30082 or phone 1-877-4 AMB IT US or web www.amb-it.com (http://www.amb-it.com). From what I have seen, nobody discounts them.
I will make a few calls tommorrow and see if there is anyway I can get a quantity purchase discount and maybe keep a couple in stock at C & D Performance Enterprises in Minden NV.
