View Full Version : Cheap Season ??
Am I reading the schedule wrong?
Solo basically cancelled unless an angel drops 15 acres of asphault on us.
PDX and Club Trials only have 3 Saturdays and 1 Sunday?
Gina, up for some street racing

Maybe we can organize a hill climb. I'll get the Lotus out of the showroom and take anyone on up Mount Rose. Disclaimer: Drove that road twice a day for over ten years :) And I'm a six-time graduate of traffic school now!

I don't believe it--just sold the Lotus. Cash deal so this one will probably go through. Damn.

Okay, we don't want to lose all our fun. So here are some ideas to start, those of you who are smarter or sillier than I am should be able to add some more. And in the end we should be able to get some workable ideas.
1. Turn the tours into poker runs.
2. Do an unauthorized hill climb at like 3 am.
3. Let our kids borrow our nice race cars for a day and then we'll use theirs on the crappy surface at Stead.
4. Throw in a couple of rally crosses.
5. Get RFR to give us a couple more track days.
6. Try drag racing--with relay teams.
7. Use rental cars for the Stead weekends.
8. Road trips!
9. Silver State Classic--one in May, one in September
10. Score a deal from a driving school and have a group autocross day.
