Hi. I have purchased another car and I am having trouble determining which run group I am in. It is a toss up between SP and SM.

solo rule 15.10 for SP
E. Wiring harnesses may not be removed in whole or in part. Wiring
connectors for emissions control devices are considered part
of the harness, not part of the emissions control system, and
may not be removed.

Does this mean that my wideband o2 bumps me into SM? I removed the OEM o2 for the wideband unit and feed a signal to the ECU.

If I am in SP I cannot find which category I would be in. My car is not specifically listed under one and sounds like it could fall into the C group or maybe the E group.

It is a 94 Audi S4
Thanks!

You can remove your O2 sensor, but you can't cut the harness end off. If you left it intact, you are SP legal.

Looks to me like you are in ESP- "All sedans over 3.0 liters not otherwise classified." AWD bumps you out of DSP, and I believe forced induction prevents the car from being considered <3.0 liters for CSP.

its only 2.2L, but I think that is the class I saw the turbo subarus in so I guess that makes sense thats where I would be.

Subarus are specifically classed. I think (but can't find verbage for it) that forced induction causes you to be considered differently than NA displacement, otherwise you'd be in CSP, which is intended for lightweight sporty cars, not heavy sedans.
