i have a buddy that wants to bring his 1959 porsche 356a. his car only has lap belts. is he okay to autocross, or will he need to upgrade safety equipment before he can compete?

lap belt is good as long as its properly mounted....

He will be sliding so bad in his seat that he will buy a harness next time around.
