2009 PDX half day on Sat?

I saw a new 2009 track schedule and have some questions.
Is PDX only run half a day? Because no CT and TT group?
How we gonna get instructors?

I know your guys already plan this. :P

Last I heard, the goal was to run PDX on Sat and CT/TT on Sun, giving both groups more track time.

The expectation is that the CT/TT drivers that will be instructors will plan on being at the track the whole weekend. That way, when they're instructing, they're not bothered with having to prep, practice, and race their own cars while they're teaching and can focus the whole day on their students. Plus we'll be able to have more PDX sessions with fewer drivers per group, allowing for more one-on-one and in-car instruction.

Hi Nat,

Scott pretty much described what we are trying to do. The hope is that we will attract more drivers from other clubs and the general public as well. We will give the instructors/volunteers a session or two late in the day and a discount on entry to the ,following days CT / TT.

We also hope to have a new instructor training program in place and license them. The goal is to provide the best instruction available.

Wow more track time and discount on CT. I might have to do both PDX and CT then. Hopefully, the price does not go up that much. I'm a cheap racer that want to have fun.
