Well now we have some snow on the ground, and the race cars are in the garage. What changes are you all doing for next year??

I will be putting Kuhmo 710's on and pulling the cold air intake on the Miata and run ES....and a new brake system, new tires on Lexi's kart....

I plan to use all my stock tires so I can get some sticky tires. Maybe Toyo R888 cheap and last long. Also upgrade brake pad and maybe some brake duct work. My little one will start practice his cadet kart and his brother will race in Junior 1. If I have time left after prep 2 karts I might run my 80 shifter.

I'm thinking of taking up slot car racing.

Not a bad idea for the off-season. I do video--"Need for Speed." If I ever need to elude San Francisco cops while driving a Viper I'm covered :)

I'd really like to get some 17X8 Motegi Traklite's in flat black, but I need to move my existing wheels first. I'll post them up for sale.

I did a brake job on the green guy, and changed his oil, and the air filter too (unbelievable--you have to take off your left rear wheel to do the air filter and remove the front left quarter panel to check the brake fluid--and the manual says to do that "weekly". Hah!)

I also dropped my wedding ring down the radiator, ruined two sets of clothes, and got one burn, two cuts, three bruises, and a hot oil facial. Don't think I'm ready for prime time yet ;)

Old thread, but maybe this bump will spawn some updates!

I got Subaru to fix my head gasket, my water pump which was seizing up, and the timing belt which had stretched (or the service guy wanted to get paid to replace it since had to take it off and on for the water pump)

Bought some 225/45/17 A6 Hoosiers someone used for a season down in sac for $40 :D And i changed out my front end links (broke the stocks ones disconnecting my sway bar at a rally cross ) So i'll probably try AS a few times with out the T in front.
