Back in the 'old days' that is one of the cities served by United and I recall going there a few times to work on the Aviation Fuel Sytem there.
We scheduled a PDX/Time Trials September 12-13. Wonder if we should think about changing that to sometime in October after the Runoffs?

Wow, really? So the National AutoX and rallyX are in Nebraska?
http://nrscca.com/events.php?id=107
I really have an issue with this. 1) The Nebraska SCCA RallyX national event has been unsafe . in the last 4 years they have had 3 roll overs. 06, 07, and 08. This is entirely due to course design fault, and that they rent no grading equipment for the course.
This is hurting the reputation of RallyX. several Reno members sited a roll over in nebraska as a reason to never try rallyX anywhere.
1.b) the SCCA national office so far hasn't realized that for RallyX you really need the safety steward be from that area. the dirt / soil conditions varies greatly from one region to an other, and even from 1 site to an other. you really need someone From that site, to ensure its a safe event. you just can't take someone from out of town and expect them to understand the unique challenges that your venue has.
2) Its very Unfair to west coast SCCA Members to constantly hold the Nationals in the east coast. I know the last 2 years the RallyX national has been out east. This year a friend of mine drove out for it and had one of the head SCCA national peeps all but promise him next year it would be in Colorado. which is on the west coast at least (sorta) Seems like after 4 years in nebraska they should hold one in California for fairness.
3) also One region shouldn't get both nationals that seems unfair to every other region in the entire country. Makes me wonder how on earth are they deciding this? :unamused:
Nebraska has had the nationals in 2005,07 and 08.
In 2006 the national event was held at Thunder Hill , we had no roll overs (and i even took 3rd) . i do recall that the national lady refused to let me bring a passenger. (my friend drove up just to spectate, he wasn't even entered to race)

On point 2... Nebraska is not "east coast" Alex. In fact, it's west of center geographically, and very far west of the center of population for the US, so it's the least fair location Nats has had ever, as far as I know.
Your other points regarding rallycross are valid though.
