I would like to thank everyone who came out this weekend to help with the Street Survival. We really could not put on the program without your help...

From the in car instructors to the cone chasers, exercise leaders to the organizers, registration and lunch co-coordinators and anyone else who helped out in any way, I thank you, and so do the students...

Here are a couple of the general comments from the students evaluations for you:

"Had a fantastic day. Thank you."

"Thank you. This class was very fun and I appreciate it very much."

"!! :) !" (Yes, one of the comments was a smiley face with exclamation points.)

Here are a couple of comments specifically about the the instructors...

"Incredible coach [...] taught me such a great deal"

"Very helpful, supportive."

"Breaking out of my shell and gaining confidence."

I echo Dean's gratitude. It was a long day, but also a lot of fun. The kids and parents may not have had a chance to thank everyone in person, but they wanted to. You all did yourselves proud; thank you very much!

Adding my thanks to All of the volunteers who gave up their day(s) to help several more teen drivers learn better car control. This school benefits not only the students, but also their families and friends, and ultimately all of us on the roads.

And thank you Reno SCCA for embracing the opportunity to host Street Survival.

Talked to Jeff Warner from the BMW club. He wanted to express their appreciation to Stead and Reno SCCA for letting them join us. Jeff also had much positive response from students and parents. One parent was impressed enough to suggest the program should be mandatory in every State. It really was another great experience. Hope everyone enjoyed it as much as Carol & I did.
