I vote for a technical AUTOCROSS course. Something that is at least 45 seconds in an F125 that uses the WHOLE surface at Stead. Make it a drivers course, not a drag race. If they're cryin its too tight, then it was just right....;)

Pat, if I showed up after work at 5:45 (earliest I can be there), would I be too late to help at all?

Well the weekend is over....and so is the racing season. It was a long weekend to say the least. It started fri afternoon when we got to stead and smack dab in the middle of the course area was a big firefighting helicopter....they got approval to move it and so the course build was on...thnx to all who came out,Jim,Scott,Wes,Lou and Lexi....with their help we had the course set up marked and taken down heading home by 5:15.
Sat am started cool cloudy and windy. We had the course all set for walking before 8am....the day went well and it seems fun was had by all. We did 5 runs for all and were all done and heading home by 4pm....to cold to do fun runs.
Sun am awoke with the sun shining and my P/U truck in the driveway with a blown clutch slave cylinder:mad:. so I pulled the small trailer out of the back yard so I could get Lexi's kart home. so when we got to stead I asked Scott if he could help pull the club trailer to drop cones(said sure), and matt for dragging it in the afternoon, and again we had everthing ready to go before 8am. and again the day went well(I think;))
Both days we had drivers meetings @ 8:45 and 1st car out @ 9ish and afternoon runs started before 1pm.
All this wouldnt happen if it wasnt for alll the help from the Tech crew,T&S and anyone else I could find to help(as they were running away:P) A big thanksto all for the help this weekend. Now lets start planning for the next year of Auto-x and Track programs....

Thanks again Pat & Lexi

Thank you Pat, and Lexi for the fun events you setup this year. Thank you everyone who was involved in putting together this race season. I've had a lot of fun(and seat time) for my first year of autox and look forward to another great year.
I would like to co-chair an event or two next year if anyone needs:)

How about this for a fall autocross? Each driver will race up Mount Rose to a cone in my driveway. Then collect a bag of pine needles and a six pack. Race up the street to the jerk neighbor's (you'll know which one--he has cement lions at his gateway, no $#!t) and throw the bag into his dumpster.Winners get out of there without their license numbers being taken down.

Sign me up! What makes "Higgins" such a jerk? Go ahead and rant, that's why Al Gore invented the internet.
