Yeah, Sunday's course seemd to bring the field pretty close together. You can definately see the impact a unique course like RFR has in relation to the Stead courses. The intervals seemed smaller in many classes. There are some awesome class battles still going into the final two weekends of the season.

To paraphrase Mike K, "anything more than that would have just been a waste of gas!" :D
And +1 on the thanks to Matt and Scott! I know it wasn't easy to put that course together, working with the elevation changes, and the new venue all together! Great job!!

Been meaning to post up on this. I enjoyed both courses immensely. I found them to be technical and challenging. I'd be all for us going back to RFR once a year during air race season.
Now for the bad, I hate grid, it is a safety stewards nightmare. I am not blaming anyone for it, we did the best with what we had. Don't like paddock being a country mile and uphill both ways to get to and from the course. Ever pushed a kart a long distance? Waa Waa, I know, but it still sucks. Plus I hate the fact that we couldn't see the course from grid or paddock. It reminds me of nationals at HPT, those that have been know what I mean.
So I'd rather we come to RFR once a year, unless a solo pad is built, then I'd be all for running there fulltime. Hey, at least we can leave the course up overnight. And if you're the event chair and you ask real nice you can probably sucker the dummies who stay onsite in the RV's to reset the course for you for the next day....;)

Yes, that seems to work nicely.
