We may not have morning and afternoon sessions out there. We won't really know till the day of the event (usually there are only 3 instead of 4), but if you plan on going, you should plan on being out there all day anyway.

You can bring your dog.
As Nick said, there are often only 2 or maybe 3 run groups at Lovelock depending on turnout. You should plan to be there all day.
When there are three, you usually work before you run and when there are two we often run a few runs in the AM for each group and then a few more in the afternoon for each group. It all depends on how many drivers show up as to what we do.
Amanda and I are going and we're bringing corn bread for the chili feed! :)

No fridges in rooms and I can't fit a cooler in my car. Supposed to bring a salad to go w/ chili. Does anyone has room in a cooler or fridge for the food? or I'll have to just bring a bag of chips and a six pack like all you single guys do

I plan on taking my cooler out there Gina. Should have enough room, depending on how much you've got.
I should have plenty of room in the grocery getter too.

Is it too late to pick a food for the chili ? anyone covering desert? i could bring ice cream?
On a related note i need some classing help for my rally car. Although maybe i should just RNP to make it easy. Its got an air intake kit, removal of 1 cat. and it has a roll cage which required me to remove carpeting, head liner and parts of the dash board. it should be ITC legal for SCCA Club racing, which would give it CSP entry. I think normally it would be clased in FSP , but i'm not certain if back seat / carpet removal (even though it had to come out for the rolllcage) lets it be legal... ? I want to run FSP , but if anyone has an issue with that i'll CSP, and if someone has issue with that i'll RNP. :)
Seat time, Yeah!
Bring ice cream and you can run any class you want! :P

If I show up at noon on Saturday can I RNP in the afternoon session?

We probably won't be broken up into morning and afternoon sessions.
Mel,
Not sure how the run groups well be set up? It well be dependant on how many people show up and wont be determined until Saturday morning. We typically run three run groups. Sometimes only two which means we run in the morning and then again in the afternoon. It is not likely that we will have our typical 4 run groups.
So the issues would be getting there early enough to work and run and also dealing with the drivers meeting. Mel give me a call, you know were I am at. We would love to have you there.
We have two courses configured. One is a 2 lap course and the other is a single lap course. I believe the single lap course will be longer than the 2 lapper. It is concievable depending on how many people show that we have 6 - 90+ sec. runs???
