View Full Version : Anyone looking for a tire warmer?
I would like to drive someone's car this Saturday, the 16th for RD 14.
I am from San Jose, where I have won the STS2 San Francisco Region co-driving Scot Ze****r's 1991 Miata. http://www.sfrscca.org/solo2/Results/2008/Championship/sts2.html
In addition to the regional, I placed third in the California Divisional.

This week, I'm in Tahoe for vacation and would like to visit and experience the Reno Chapter. As far as car's, I'm open to any and all possibilities.
I look forward to seeing the new site and running in the Biggest Little, City in the World.

I'll have my Exige out there if you want to try it. Hopefully with new wheels / tires.

We're a region, not a chapter :D

Good catch Nick, we need to keep reminding the SFR folks that there is more to the SCCA than their region.
And, Gina, would sure like to take a couple runs in the Exige if you are offering.

I look forward to seeing the new site and running in the Biggest Little, City in the World.North, or South Shore (Tahoe)? Because depending on where you're coming from, one route may be faster to get to Reno-Fernley Raceway, than the other. (Maybe you've already mapquest'd it?)

Absolutely. Always happy to learn what my car can do when experienced racers drive it. I plan to be there both mornings and might stick around for RNPs.

Nice one Nick...
But lets play nice with Kraig, he's a good guy, even if he is from SFR:P
Besides, once he tastes our kool-aid, maybe he'll come play here on a regular basis.

Mmmmm...I love me some Reno Chapter Kool-Aid!
Sorry for my ignorence, I assumed the whole world revolves around San Francisco.
Gina, I would love to try the Exige. Give me a call at 408-591-8909.
I'm in Kings Beach, which I figure the fastest is to hit 80 at Truckee.

Talk about culture shock: coming from SFO, staying in Tahoe, then running out in the desert at RFR.

Is Jim Jones giving out the Kool-aid?

:D:D:D:D Speaking of which I swear I had Jim Jones reinc. as a bartender last night. When ordering 151 & Coke I'd like to think most bartenders would use the 1 shot method. This man was made them more 1/2 and 1/2. I feel he was trying to kill me.
