Congrats to Dustin and John Burns for a 1-2 finish in F125 at this past weekend's ProSolo event in Wendover! Dustin came from near the back of the class at the end of day 1, to finish in the top spot, very exciting!

Debbie fails to mention that she trophied (4th) in L1 and that Rachel did well in her first Pro considering the competition coming in 9/11 less than 10% off the leader. And Mark Sipe came in 8/11 in the combined Open bumping order B1.

Congratulations to them as well.

Congratulations to them as well.Thanks. The rest of the Reno contingent are likely to be mulling the 'wouda coulda shoulda' post-race lament. A part broke on Mark's car causing him to DNS 2 of the 4 Sat. afternoon runs; while he was able to use my car for his Sunday morning runs, it handled differently than his and he wasn't able to get any decent run times; Kelly Williams was plagued by timing system problems that forced her to take reruns in less-than-optimal conditions. Rachel had good runs going on Sunday morning, until just before the finish where she continued to hit a wall cone - groan! No clean runs for her on one side, which put her 2 seconds behind where she could've ended up. However, she was cutting great lights (many in the .500's, where .500 is a perfect reaction time -- she also had a .499 redlight on Saturday). She really enjoyed the ProSolo format, and is looking forward to trying it again - so that was the Kerswill's real success of the weekend.

Yep, yes i am. I actually had a rallyX that weekend, but i am itching to try Pro-solo (if i'm good enough to lose at autoX i'm probably good enough to lose at pro solo )

One of the rally crossers i get to race with (Brent Blakely) has a few pro solos and speaks a lot of praise upon it.

Congrats on the good racing :)

It seems like something was written in SportsCar about him in RallyX this year - or else, a picture of his car was in there?

Hope you do try it sometime. The last ProSolo this year before the Finale, is at Packwood WA on Aug 23/24, but quite a haul (12-hour drive or so) to get there. The closest to us used to be at Atwater CA, but this year's was cancelled due to losing that site. Wendover was next-closest.
