Anyone have 4 matching 17" tires (prefered something like 245/40/17) I've got a nail in one of my tires, and its bald on the inside so les schwab won't patch it . :(
anything with usable tread left on it would be fine. thx

A little tall, but not a bad deal.

Alex you can still have all 4 of my hoosiers for 100 bucks, 1 was corded but you can replace it.

good find on the RE01Rs i msged there, hopefully i'm not too late
tempting Kris i'de be a lil worried that the others will cord shortly, and the cost of one A6, shaved to match the size may be kinda pricey... :|
although i could have them mounted so what you were using as the outside, becomes the inside.... maybe i'll stop by tomorrow and have a peek at them. does anyone know the tire place in town that does shaving? (need to shave it to match existing ones)
 guess i can either Visa something , or utterly destroy an old set of snow tire
I think Sunshine in Sparks does shaving (and I just found out that they're an amsoil dealer).

Alex....cant run if cords are showing.....dont shave a new hoosier.....the diff in dia isnt great enough to sweat it.....I have seen new street tires with a bigger dia difference brand new....

The other 3 should be fine. Well above the wear markers. With only a few runs on them, you'll only really need to heat cycle the 4th that you buy. Figured out that the tire corded due to the **** alignment Sid's did.

I have four tires for sale, but they aren't race worthy. Dunno if that's what you are looking for or not.
235/40/17 Falken FK-452 Summer only tires.

Yeah something I can AutoX on. I might have to be done for the season. the tire with the nail in it is almost corded on the inside edge. I probably should stop driving on it to work ... (i need an alignment really really bad in the back of my car) And my STI keeps going into Limp mode , with out a CEL. :| (and i thought it was running really well to get 25 mph)
I've got 2 sets of snows i can put on for commuting esp as one set is just a lil past the winter wear bars. in retrospec i should have driven on my old winters and just used the re-01rs for autox. I'll have to stop over and check out what Kris has for tires.
Is your damaged tire corded, or just below the wear bars? A shop what knows you are racing will likely patch if the later. Sid's, C&C, etc...

Almost corded <> corded. It just means run it in the rear... :P

Guess that could work. might have to work.
I ended up picking up Kris's old tires, but aparently they are R304's . does anyone know what these tires are? (track , autox , ) ? could i just pair one of them with an A6 and call it good? drastic difference in grip or pretty close?
