It's hot, tempers are getting short and patience is wearing thin for the Region; I'd suggest making it to the meeting this Wednesday and giving us some input, and hearing some suggestions from the Board, on possible fundamental changes to Solo for us.
Things that will come up before the Board:
Solo course design standards for Reno - a basic set of guidelines that will not be allowed to be stretched for any of the Stead courses. (Read: no more super fast courses.)
A pre-season course design forum/school for prospective Event Chairs.
Shortening the Solo Season (fewer events) to prevent burn-out. Possibility of one day Solo Events at Stead.
If you have any opinion on any of these changes, or anything related to these issues, the only whining and complaining that will be given attention is at the meeting, so plan on being there.
