Here is one of those chances to help out, or at least learn a new role we need help in with our Solo program.
Reno Region SCCA members and friends,
This message is for our dedicated Soloists...
Reno Region's Solo program is in need of additional certified Solo Safety Stewards, and there will be an SSS training session offered at the North/South Challenge event at Hawthorne Memorial Day weekend. Since Reno Region doesn't currently have a certified SSS trainer, the Hawthorne event may be your only opportunity to become a Solo Safety Steward.
The training session will be held at the El Capitan, right after the close of Friday evening registration.
Becoming an SSS is a great way to help our program, and serving as an SSS at our events takes the place of your normal work assignment. It's a win-win, and there are no special prerequisites -- just a commitment to Solo and a reasonable amount of common sense.
