2008 Idaho Rally!

I know it's still a ways out but the first race day is a friday and the registration for both drivers and volunteers is on a thursday so most people will need the days off work. The dates are July 10th, 11th, and 12th with racing on both the 11th and 12th. For more info you can visit www.idahorally.com If you can please volunteer. A lot of people are still needed.

Safe Drives Prize Fund to Support Idaho Rally 2008

Safe Drives LLC (www.safedrives.com (http://www.safedrives.com/)) announced today the Safe Drives Prize Fund will support the 2008 running of the Idaho Rally by offering two $100 cash prizes to competitors. The Safe Drives Prize Fund will continue to offer cash prizes at select Performance (http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1506222#) Rally events during the 2008 season.

The Safe Drives principals are passionate about Performance Rally having been competitors themselves for the last six seasons.
The Safe Drives Prize Fund will be offered to all competitors at the Idaho Rally 2008 as long as they have met basic parameters lined out below.

1) Competitors must place one provided Safe Drives sticker on each front fender of the competing vehicle (http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1506222#) (2 stickers total). The stickers must be on the rally car for Park Expose’ before rally start and must remain on the rally vehicle for the balance of the event.
2) Eligible teams must finish all days of a multi day event to qualify.
3) The winning teams do not need to be present during the awards ceremony to win.

The cash prizes will be given away at the awards ceremony with the winners determined by random drawing.

We went out today to stake out a few of the stages. You will NOT be disapointed! Long stages, smooth roads and a ton of turns ftw!

"Stage 1" had to be broken up. So instead of a 23 mile stage there is a 6 and a 14 mile stage now. The pictures above were taken yesterday.

Well I drove ALL the stages today! Some twice haha. I was driving my Dodge Ram and it was still a TON of fun. We still need around 30 volunteers for friday so if you can volunteer please to. You get a free shirt, lunch and tickets to the after party on sat!
