The Sacramento Chapter is holding their annual Shriner's Charity Event on May 17th, 100% of the proceeds go to the Shriner's--we don't make a dime. First car out at as close to 8am as possible--it's on concrete :):):):):). There is usually a Killer BBQ Guy onsite for food--very reasonable prices for tri-tip sandwiches. Come over the hill and run at almost sea level (more Hp-hint,hint,hint). We usually have a pretty killer Raffle too--$1.00 a ticket--last year we had a 3 ton jack and jackstand kit, cases of oil, car care products, free entries for Sac. Events, shirts, hats, etc. Every bit of the proceeds benfits the Shriner's Hospital for Children. Come over the Hill and join Us for some Good Food,Good Friends and some Damn Good Racing--think of it as a mini vacation.
Sunday is a normal Auto-X, I'm pretty sure the BBQ Guy is back and we will be running the course backwards, like i said this is on Concrete so you have amazing grip. Cars can stay over night, but there is no overnight camping. There is a Marriot just down the street, that usually has pretty good rates. I'll check and see what the rate is???
Check the website for more info.
I'll see some of you there,
