Dave will send in the Charter Renewal forms before he leaves on vacation.

Scheduling Committee – 2005 Solo 2/Trials/Race/Road Rally:  The committee met before the general meeting.  John Evans researched availability of various sites and pulled together a preliminary draft of the Solo 2 schedule.  John was asked to report on the schedule status at the regular meeting. The committee is looking at 13 – 15 Solo 2 regional points events and 9-10 Solo Trials series or track events such as Solo 1 Time Trials or High Performance Car Control Clinics. This number includes the Solo 2 Divisional but excludes Schools and/or Test & Tune days.  Some of the Trials dates may be replaced with track events.  We are also looking at doing 1 or 2 Road Rally events and of course the Reno/SFR Double National Race is planned for March 18 -20 at Thunderhill.  The Reno Solo 2 Divisional will be held either June 11-12 or June 25-26.    There are some dates penciled n from other areas:  National Tour – Atwater Apr 20-May 1; National Tour - Washington July 23 & 24; and a Solo 2 Divisional in August at either Montana or Idaho.  Winnemucca is in question because of airport improvements in early May and are considering canceling the event for this year.  We are looking at having a Solo II & Solo 1 Trials combined event (one on one day & one the next) at Lovelock.

Reno/SFR Double National Race:  To Be held March 18, 19, & 20, 2005.

San Francisco would like us to make a commitment of the level of participation we want to do this year.  The choices are:  A) Provide 4 workers and if SFR breaks even or better we would receive $1,000 (similar as last year)  B)  Provide 8 workers & would receive 10% of the profit and no liability to us for loss.  C)  Provide 25 workers & receive 25% of the profit and be liable for 15% of any loss.

After a lot of discussion a motion was made by Pat Housel that we accept Plan B, Deb Johnson 2nd; motion accepted.

Dave will contact RJ at SFR and let him know the decision.

Achievement Award Program:  Dave had sent a email to the directors but to date hasn’t gotten any response.  He will set up a meeting after the Holidays.

Reno-Fernley Raceway Changes/Pro-Solo Proposal – NWR:  Jeremy Cable is the new manager he is Rich Cable’s son.  Dave, Larry Capen & Lee Mitchell went out for a meeting to get an update on the track.  Basically they are operating a budget.  They have been cleaning up the runoff areas and also making another 1 ˝ miles of track.  After the committee has their meeting in Jan. they will report back to the Reno Club.

Dave advised that Terri Ozment, Director of Club Racing for the SCCA, will come out a day early for the NorPac Convention. She will attend a meeting at Reno-Fernley Raceway along with a Steward and driver from SFR and possibly others.  The purpose of this meeting is to give others an opportunity to view the facility and give unofficial feedback on the feasibility of holding SCCA sanctioned events.

Dave thanked the committee and especially John Evens

Walk on Items:  Carol reported that Terri Geck will be the Chief Resister next year.  Thanks Terri.

Dave thanked Debbie Kerswill for the great job as Register last year and she received a round of applause.
